Candidate Information

Express Professional is always open to accepting resumes and letters of interest regardless of whether we are actively working on a search in your area of expertise or not. We refer to this process as "registering." Upon receipt of your resume, it is entered into our proprietary database as a prospective candidate. EPS keeps all information strictly confidential. References and past employers are not contacted until we ask your permission. When EPS is retained to search for a candidate with your skill set, we will contact you at that time.

Frequently asked questions about Express Professional Staffing

With what types of industries and positions does EPS work?

We work with a variety of industries and companies throughout Central Oregon and the Pacific Northwest to recruit Professional and Executive candidates. Our primary niches include Accounting/Finance, Sales/Marketing, Engineering/Manufacturing, Banking, Information Technology, Human Resources, Healthcare, Legal and Non-Profit. Our searches change rapidly and it is very hard to predict what we will be searching for next.

How many searches are typically conducted?

EPS typically conducts 30-35 searches each month and will complete over 200 searches annually.

Does registering with EPS automatically make me a candidate for Express Personnel and visa versa?

Although EPS is a division of Express the process for registering is different for each division. We recommend registering with both EPS and Express if you are looking for more immediate employment. Express Personnel Services recruits for clerical and light industrial positions with annual salaries of $35,000 and below. Their positions are direct hire, evaluation hire (temp to hire) and temporary.

What does EPS cost?

All EPS fees are paid by the client company. There is no charge to the candidate to register or be placed by Express Professional Staffing or Express Personnel Services.

I am planning to move to the area. Can EPS get me a job?

We strongly recommend for new arrivals and those considering relocation to Central Oregon to register with EPS. We are client driven so we are not actively looking to find candidates jobs but in turn looking to recruit the right candidates to fill our client's needs. However, our searches change rapidly and we are often able to connect you with the perfect employer.

Is registering with EPS the same as applying for a job?

Registration with EPS does not mean you are applying for a specific position, even if you are responding to an ad or job posting. It simply means that you are requesting to be considered for current and future EPS searches that match your skills and experience.

I am planning a career change. Can EPS help?

While we believe that skills are transferable across industries and position classifications, our searches, by nature, often demand specific and measurable industry and/or position experience. Periodically we do get requests of a more general nature that may be the perfect opportunity for someone seeking a career change.

I have registered with EPS and have not heard anything. Why not?

There could be a variety of reasons. Most likely, EPS is not conducting searches for which you are specifically qualified. It is valuable however, to update your contact information periodically, particularly if you have moved or changed names since registering.
